Meet Mike Vondran

Growing the Future of Iowa Together

Mike is a lifelong Iowan who has raised his family and grown a thriving business in our state for over three decades. His leadership and commitment to the Quad-Cities community has included service on numerous community boards over the past four decades, including Grow Quad-Cities, the Great Mississippi Valley Fair, Junior Achievement of the Heartland, Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, Trinity Health Foundation, Downtown Davenport Partnership, and Greater Davenport Redevelopment Corporation. Mike also founded the HAVlife™ Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that serves the needs of area at-risk youth, providing education and life opportunities to young people.

Working hard for all Iowans, Mike serves as Chairman of the Iowa House Public Safety Committee and also serves on the Ways & Means, Commerce, and Judiciary Appropriations committees.

Mike remains focused on making Iowa the best place in the nation for young people to grow, learn, earn, and raise families. He has sponsored and voted for legislation to help lower taxes for families and create opportunities for young people and families to thrive statewide.

Additionally, Mike is focused on growing a vibrant economy in our Eastern Iowa region, building a recognition, appreciation and understanding of the value that we add to the state. His efforts in his legislative and business career have been directed towards growing a competitive, innovative business environment. He has remained a strong voice for House District 94 and helped its growth and influence statewide.
