Iowa needs to realize the value of our youngest Iowans and the potential that is in our future.
Additionally, Mike is focused on growing a vibrant economy in our Eastern Iowa region, building a recognition, appreciation and understanding of the value that we add to the entire State of Iowa. A competitive, innovative business environment is essential to grow our State. Mike will be a strong voice for all who reside and work in
House District 94 and as a result will grow home and State together!
Mike knows Iowa must have a competitive business climate that will grow, retain and attract quality businesses. We need to not only improve our tax structure to reward hard work and innovation, but also enhance education and workforce initiatives that will prepare Iowans with the skills necessary to succeed in a global economy.
Mike knows the key to a successful budget is to spend less than you take in and wants to ensure the State is accountable to Iowans. This starts with sound management of taxpayer’s dollars, eliminating wasteful spending and balancing the budget. Hard decisions need to be made and priorities set – all of which should align with the needs of Iowans. As a small business owner, Mike knows these principles are key to performing at full potential and providing value to Iowans.
A healthy future for Iowa starts with our youth. Mike will work hard to not only return Iowa to the top state in the nation in terms of education, but also make sure all young Iowans have access to basic services to promote positive mental and physical health ensuring all Iowans have access to support services. Mike’s vision is for Iowa to be the best place to learn, earn, and grow.
